Somerset

Minehead is situated towards the western end of Somerset near to its border with Devon, with Exmoor National Park to its south and west.

Somerset is an ancient maritime county, with the Bristol Channel separating it from Wales to the north. It contains very varied scenery; the flat marshy “levels”, rolling farmland, ranges of hills including the Mendips, the Quantocks and the Brendon Hills, as well as the wonderful expanse of Exmoor with its wild moorland and hidden picturesque villages.
