
The Bungalow’s lay-out and gardens make it ideal for families, and with the accommodation all being on one level, it is highly suitable for those with limited mobility. Two paths lead to the front door, having three or four steps up to the level of the house, with a handrail at the side path steps.
An oak front door housed in an arched porch opens into a generous hallway with coat storage and electric storage heater, airing cupboard and broom cupboard.
The living room, both bedrooms, bathroom, WC, and kitchen/dining room all lead off the hall (see floor plan on Rooms page).
The living room is a good sized dual aspect room with a front bay window and is furnished with two leather tan sofas (the larger being a bed settee). There is a coffee table, sideboard, flat screen TV with both DVD and Video players. A good selection of DVDs and videos are provided along with a music system with a selection of CDs. There is an electric storage heater and electric fire within an attractive fireplace.
The dining area has a window overlooking one of the side gardens and seats six around a wooden table. There is an appealing pine dresser and electric storage heater.
The kitchen is well equipped with a range of wall and base units, electric oven and hob, integrated washing machine and dishwasher, and a walk-in larder housing the refrigerator and freezer. In the kitchen there is a microwave oven. Basic provisions such as tea, coffee, sugar, dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid will be provided. There are two windows overlooking the side and back gardens.
Off the kitchen is the backdoor with step down into the conservatory – a lovely suntrap with cane furniture and double glazed doors leading to the gardens.
The front double bedroom is a large dual aspect room overlooking the front garden through a bay window, while the side window overlooks the orchard area. There is a double bed, bedside tables, drawers, wardrobe, dressing table, radio/CD player, and electric storage heater.
The twin en suite bedroom has two single beds, bedside table, drawers and wardrobe.
Dual aspect windows overlook the side orchard area and rear garden. There is an iPod docking station/player and electric storage heater. The en-suite contains a hand basin and WC.
There is ample space in either bedroom to house the travel cot which is available.
The bathroom has a bath with electric shower over, wash basin and heated towel rail.
There is off road parking for one car at the front of the property and also rear access to the property which provides hard standing for extra off-road parking. The gardens are fenced and gated making them safe for children.
All items required for a comfortable holiday stay are supplied, such as duvets, bed linen, towels, a good supply of crisp white crockery and sparkling glass wear, numerous cooking utensils and a barbecue with fuel (please replace if used).
In the garden there are two small wooden sheds, washing line, white garden furniture and extensive lawns for visitors’ enjoyment.
